The Great Wall of China End
.
The Great Wall of China ends up in the Andes. It looks like a folly, but in a publication of the American Geographical Review, 1935 Cornelius Van S. Roosevelt, grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt, U.S., reports that in 1931 while taking photographs of the Peruvian altitude Shipee issuing and Johnson discovered a wall and in 1934 traveled with Richard Cross in Peru and with the archaeologist Julio C. Taylor made an expedition to investigate this wall.
He describes as an adobe building, which is still standing about a meter tall, and born at sea in a place called Santa Clara extending eastward near the mountains along the Río Santa for more than 60 km . It was protected by fourteen forts distributed along its length.
Dr. Taylor concluded that the wall was the proto-Chimu period. And like its namesake of China was built to defend against invasions of its neighbors.
